I've noticed that people in New York wear a lot of black. Travelling in a busy subway in winter months and its literally a sea of black coats. Until I moved here I hardly ever bought anything black (still more of a navy girl!), but some items are seeping into my closet. Loving these lace pieces, they add such femininity to the dark tones. And who can resist these gold cuffs?! I love the idea of wearing one on each wrist. (Admittedly, the boots aren't exactly the most budget friendly, but I think this outfit would work just as well with any black (or gold) pump, I'm just a sucker for a cap toe!)

You are so right, New Yorkers only wear black. We have both found a lot more of it in our closet since moving here. Love the boots and the top!
Interesting, I used to think that NYC was a place full of colored and risky people, no matter the season.
Pretty boots.
See you!
those boots are so nice!
