A trip to the Bronx zoo

Last weekend we took a trip to the Bronx zoo (you may have heard me going on about it on Twitter!). There's nothing like a trip to the zoo to make you feel like a kid again! I wore a very relaxed outfit for walking about all day in the sun. I managed to get this anchor print top from J.Crew in the sales, (and got an almost identical t-shirt at the same time!), I really can't resist anything nautical...!

Anyway, if you live in the NY area I recommend the zoo if you're looking for a fun day out. The chimps and gorillas were my favourite :-)

Note to self: if it's breezy on the ground, don't go on the roof to take photos, because it'll be blowing a gale. Lesson learned.

May Snapshots

Looking back over the month of May..can't believe it's gone by so quickly! I'm finally getting into a routine here in NYC, settling into my job and enjoying the city on evenings and weekends, especially now the weather is warmer. May saw a lot of good times, spring outfits and indulgent food, oh... and a 40 mile bike ride around the city (!). Really hoping June brings more of the same (although I'll pass on the 40 miles until next year)! xo
