Dress: BCBG Max Azria, Bag: Moschino
It seems ages since I last did outfit photos! While I was back in the UK on vacation, I also had my PhD graduation ceremony (finally!). At my first graduation, I wore the staple white blouse, black pencil skirt and black pumps, but this being my second (and final!) graduation ceremony, I decided to wear something that was a little more 'me'. I bought this dress months ago, but never have many special occasions to wear it to. I also have it in cream because I love it so much! It felt appropriate for the ceremony, and was nice to know that I wouldn't be wearing the same as everyone else! Plus, I needed something neutral to go with the bright red and purple doctorate gowns!

A beautiful graduation dress - I'm impressed that you thought about the colours of the gown! I always wince a little when I see girls with loud dresses clashing horribly with their gowns at ceremonies, does ruin the sincerity of the occasion a little...
