June has been a scorcher! I'm definitely used to British summers and living in NYC for my first summer is becoming quite an experience already! Needless to say, 90% of the time I'm loving the heat- even getting a tiny bit of a tan (for the first time in 10 years- no joke!)
Spent the last month taking a lot of snaps around the city- if you follow on Twitter or Instagram (@mochasoywhippy), you'll definitely sense a theme- I can't get over the stormy skies and beautiful sunsets we've been having.
On to July! Looking forward to my first Independence Day living in the US, if just for themed cupcakes and lots of fireworks. Then, in less than 2 weeks I'm headed back to the UK for an exciting visit, can't wait to see family and friends again! What are your plans for the summer?

I guess that your question about summer is only to people from the north, because here in the south we are freezing in the middle of winter :)

Fun pics! Happy you're enjoying life in NYC. I'm a bit jealous of your hot summer. It's perpetually 65 here in SF, and I do miss east coast summers. (I grew up in RI.)
I don't have much planned for the summer. Just moved into a new apartment and am looking forward to really settling in. There's always so much to do! I'm sure the boyfriend and I will take a few trips to Santa Crus but no major travel.
Grrr.. Santa Cruz, not "Santa Crus"...
Well, my summer's all about some really hard-working, but I'm always glad to see other people enjoying the best months of the year! And YAY! Wish I could be in New York to try the famous themed cupcakes on 4th of July! :o)
