Last year I did this, it took me until mid-January to prepare the post, so I did it ahead of schedule this time!! Here's my 2011- in outfits. It's been a very eventful year, most importantly completing my PhD, getting engaged and preparing to leave the country to live in NYC! Due to all these things, I haven't had as much time to dedicate to 'mochasoywhippy' as I'd have liked, and I'm so grateful for all you wonderful followers who continue to come back :-). As for 2012, living in NYC I'm so excited to see how the blog will change and develop and how my style might also change along the way. I'm looking forward to the future, and a new adventure!!

Winter Snapshots

A festive wish list

This is a bit of a weird post for me. I never really know what I want for Xmas. Especially this year, with our move to the US being straight after the new year, anything I receive means extra bags, extra boxes to pack, and also I'm just so grateful to be spending the festive season with family and friends before we go away- that's the best present! 

However, we all have those items that we dream of owning one day, those that we are completely in love with right now, or those we just think are too cute... And these are mine:

Row 1: Stella McCartney iPhone case (£150), Paris vs New York print (I've been admiring these for our NYC apartment!), Hermes Avalon blanket (the height of luxury in my opinion!)(£870).

Row 2: Liberty 2012 Diary (so sad they are out of stock right now!), Reiss Tilly Cherry Knit (any fluffy jumper that also has pockets is a must-have!) ($149), Mulberry Effie tote (£595), Kate Spade's Guide to Living Colorfully books (just so cute and the perfect gift!) ($35).

Row 3: Madeleine Thompson cashmere sequin hat (it's hard to find a dressy, festive, warm hat- this is all 3!) (£96 on sale), Kate Spade Cosmetics bag (or anything Kate Spade really... This one has little hedgehogs on it!) ($60) and finally the Assad Mounser for Liberty Crystal collar necklace (£390) which would make any outfit extra special.

The pink satchel

Just a little post to show you guys my lovely pink Cambridge satchel! I haven't used it too much yet as it's quite hard to match up with things colour-wise, but I'm certain I'll get plenty of use out of it by spring! 

Life is crazy busy right now.. I have my last day at my job on Friday ready for Xmas and the The Big Move. Visas arrived this week, making the whole thing very real... now just need to get the bags packed ready to go! It's exciting but very stressful. xx
