More pleats

This skirt was an amazing gift from AA- it's so beautiful and ridiculously comfortable. I have a slight obsession with pleated skirts or long skirts. I have 5 pleated skirts now...oops! And long ones are so lovely to wear, in fact i treated myself to this one too this weekend.

These were taken on my second day at Somerset House for LFW- last Sunday. Yes, the weather is playing havoc with my hair again. If anyone has any hair product recommendations for rainy or moist/humid days they'd be greatly appreciated! :-)

I hate to post over fashion week photos....
This is not really an outfit post, as the outfit itself is pretty boring! But it's a nice opportunity to share a few fun pics and show some of the accessories I picked up at a local vintage fair recently. The gold chain bracelet was a particularly lucky find as i broke my old one only the day before. Although this one is much more bling!! And i couldn't resist this cute anchor brooch and silk scarf. I'm never as lucky with vintage clothes, I have so many belts, pieces of jewelry and scarves that i've picked up at vintage stores, but only a select few items of clothes that i really love... Maybe next time!

fashion week

So i'm back from my weekend at LFW! Although fashion week runs for 5 days, having a full time job and not living in the city means that i can only go at the weekend :-( Anyways, I had a blast in London! I spent 80% of my time shopping and visiting my places and the rest checking out the street style and exhibitions at Somerset House. There were a lot of other fashion bloggers hanging around outside, many of whom i recognised but was too shy to say hi! The rain on Saturday, literally put a dampener on things (as you can probably tell from my horrific hair in this pic!) and it was actually freezing yesterday.. i do wonder why fashion weeks always fall in some of the coldest, wettest months...
This pic was taken by Craig Arend of altamiranyc/modelsoffduty, who i finally met on Saturday. It was so sweet of Craig to come over and say hi and even remember me and my blog from over a year ago and it's just great that the pic was featured on nymag's The Cut! Today....

So this is what i'm wearing today. The blouse is a new addition, a lovely gift from AA- I do love a sheer blouse!! We've spent most of the day giving a 'make-over' to my bf's friend, helping him buy some new clothes... was actually pretty fun to spend someone else's money for them and shop in the guys sections!! Bless. Anyway, after all that i'm back at home, ready to catch up with this weeks Glee and all your blogs. Sorry i've been absent this week- i'm so busy right now! xxx

Please excuse my appearance in these pics and for my absence over the past days. I've been struck down with a vicious flu! Right now i'm dosing up on green tea and soup :-( and thank goodness for oversized sweaters like this!
Tomorrow I'm heading home for a long weekend which i'm really been looking forward to- it's the first time back since before my Paris/ skiing trips so i'm anxious to see my family and for home comforts!
