I swear these were made for me

I'm sure many of you might have seen these photos already, but i'm so into this look right now, and i feel like they are so 'me' that i can't resist posting them! Taken from Harper's Bazaar UK, October issue. I'm having a minor love affair with hats (as you can probably tell) tailored trousers, layering and longer coats right now. I already have 2 coats for this winter, but i'm still on the hunt for some more similar to these. And for the perfect camel cape!! love xxx

It's too cold for a silk dress dear

It was deceptively sunny, so in my final farewell to summer i wore this silk dress. At least i was sensible enough to wear tights because it was freezing! Must remember; September= jacket season!! Looking at these pics i realise how creased this dress gets, which sucks. Am i the only person who doesn't iron?!
On another note, i must apologize for the lack of inspiration posts at the moment. I don't mean for the blog to become all outfit posty and 'look at me'! and it doesn't mean i haven't found anything to inspire me lately either, on the contrary, there are so many things i find inspirational right now, all completely different to the next, that i'm having trouble constructing them into a cohesive post. Anyway, i'm sure one will come together soon enough!

No hat for me today, thought it was time for a change!! I bought this lace shirt ages ago for a DIY i have in mind but still haven't got round to it, really need to make more time for these things!! Slouchy

Jacket: Uniqlo

I've never owned a leather jacket. Its never been something i've been able to pull off successfully, must have the wrong face! But i do have a thing for aviator jackets, so this year i thought i'd give one a go!! I do like it, and its soooo comfy and warm. I have another shearling jacket this Autumn, which i think is more 'me', but i guess this is good for those casual Sundays!!

Autumn inspiration.

For me this is the perfect inspiration for Autumn! How beautiful are the colours?! And the coats, knitwear, that hat! I can't wait to be crunching around in the leaves again! This is by David Bellemere for Marie Claire Italia. Gorgeous.

The lace shirt

This has to be my favourite outfit at the moment. Rediscovered these shorts now the weather is appropriate for tights again, they are much too short without!! And i finally bought another belt, so I don't completely wear my other studded one out.
Got some new boots at the weekend, been sick of wearing the same few pairs of heels and i'm sure you're all bored of seeing them- hopefully you'll see something new on my feet in the next post!! xxx

Faux-fur for fall

So this is a bit of a different look for me. I like the idea of faux-fur (since i'm ALWAYS cold, it seems like a good idea) but somehow i don't feel ready for a full-on fur coat!! So i bought this scarf thing to try out instead. And yes, the hat is sticking around. I'm actually getting a long-overdue haircut tomorrow, so maybe a hat won't be so necessary anymore. But i probably won't be able to resist. My outfits always feel incomplete without one now!

An old favourite

We had an unexpectedly sunny day which left me so confused! I'm totally in the autumn mind-set and have been for a while now. Then the sun comes out again and suddenly i have nothing to wear! In my panic i reached for my trusty cross-back dress. I was surprised when i realised i hadn't worn it on the blog before!
On another note, i was happy to receive your mixed reviews on the LV bag in my last post. I sometimes have mixed feelings about it too- hence the 'dusting off'. But i do stick to my guns about it lasting me a lifetime! Its so great to know that my readers all have a variety of personal tastes and styles. Love S xxx
